Text Message Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to the text message service notifications sent by Ralphies Pool Cleaning, LLC (“RPC”, “we”, “us”) to customers who have provided a mobile number. Your pool service itself is governed by your signed Pool Service Agreement.
What the program is
If you provide a mobile number, we send you text notifications about your own scheduled pool service. There are exactly two:
- Notice that a technician is on the way to your property.
- Confirmation that a service visit has been completed.
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not send messages on behalf of anyone else.
How you sign up
You agree to receive these notifications verbally, on a live telephone call with us — either when you call to arrange pool service, or when we call you back. Before we enrol your number we read you the details: what the messages are, that there are about 8 a month, that message and data rates may apply, and that you can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help. You have to say yes, and we record that on your account with the date and time. There is no online form or keyword for text sign-up. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service from us, and you may decline and still receive full pool service.
Message frequency
Customers on weekly service receive approximately 8 messages per month — two per service visit. Frequency varies with how often your property is serviced and may be lower in weeks when no visit takes place.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data charges apply to messages you send and receive.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further service notifications. Stopping texts does not cancel your pool service — we will continue to contact you by phone or email as needed. To start again, reply START or contact us.

Carriers and delivery
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Notifications are a convenience — please do not rely on them as the sole confirmation that a visit has happened or is about to happen. Your service record is the authoritative one, and we are happy to confirm it on request.
Your mobile number
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number, or your consent to receive text messages, with any third party for any purpose. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information generally.
Eligibility
You must be the account holder for the mobile number you provide, or have that person’s permission, and be old enough to enter into an agreement in your state.
Changes
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page.
